After the aircraft lands, where does it go next?
This project continues Modulate by revisiting the aircraft motif from my thesis, originally inspired by the form of a paper plane, and reconsidering its meaning at the moment of landing. In this animation, a piece of my old sketches transforms into a paper crane. Unlike the forward motion in Modulate, the crane pauses, turns back, and returns to my sewing box, a small archive of threads and tools from four years of studying and living in New York. This return introduces a different direction. Instead of continuous movement, it becomes a moment of reflection. By revisiting personal memory, I explore how looking back can create the conditions for moving forward. Landing is not the end—I still must fly.
